We can improve our holistic health by adopting a habit of “brushing our emotions” every day, just as we care for our physical health by eating, drinking, exercising, sleeping well and brushing our teeth every day.

Recent surveys and reports have indicated that the world is feeling angrier and more stressed. There are complex reasons for this trend, but we can practice Daily Social Emotional Healthcare for better health and well-being!

How does good emotional health 

affect our overall health, well-being and longevity? 

 Positive emotions (psychological resilience and positive emotional granularity) play a critical role in contributing to psychological and physical well-being. Lisa Feldman Barret 2004 

Positive emotions, outlook and optimism reduces hypertension, high blood pressure, coronary heart disease and mortality rates. 

A 2007 meta-analysis by Schutte found that emotional intelligence was associated with better mental and physical health

Chronic stress in individuals who are biologically vulnerable because of age, genetic, or constitutional factors may lead to diseases like anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress, cardiovascular diseases, upper respiratory tract diseases, suppressed immunity, worsening of auto-immune conditions. 

We have a 45-minute online session to update participants on Holistic Healthcare, focusing on "Daily Social Emotional Healthcare".
